If you cannot accept a booking request, you should refuse it as soon as possible and immediately update your calendar availability.
To avoid having to refuse booking requests, we strongly recommend that you keep your calendar availability up to date regularly.
If you do have to decline a booking request, please note that this will negatively affect your ranking. In addition, guests will have a negative experience and are less likely to book or recommend your listing in the future.
In order to prevent disappointing guests, you can contact them via the HolidayPorch Messaging Service to offer alternative dates or an alternative property if you have additional listings.
