Why has my payment been blocked?

When you submit a booking request to a host, we freeze the total booking amount in your account. If your booking request expires (i.e. the host does not respond within 24 hours), the amount will be unfrozen automatically.

HolidayPorch will not charge you for expired bookings. If you experience any problems, you should contact your bank or credit card provider for more information regarding the release of the amount back into your account.
